Gutter Cleaning
When you buy a home there are lots of little chores that come along with that responsibility. You no longer have apartment maintenance departments to lean on to keep your home in good condition. One of those chores is gutter cleaning. Your gutters are the aluminum troughs that run along your roof to catch rain water and melt water that runs off your roof. If the gutters were not there, the water would run off your house in sheets and make it very unpleasant to walk in and out of your home when it is raining. In addition, the water would saturate the ground right next to your home and endanger your home’s foundation. Gutter systems carry the water safely to downspouts which deposit the water on the ground away from the house’s foundation. Because they are open to the elements, gutters get clogged with leaves and other debris. As a result, they periodically need to be cleaned out to keep them operating properly.
