Outdoor Furniture Upgrade Ideas

I am in desperate need of some new  outdoor furniture.  Upgrading from the old plastic chairs is a definite must if I want to move into a little better seating that I can offer my friends.  After all they aren’t getting any stronger or lighter.  They need good support for their bottoms and backs with comfort being the most motivating factor in my decision.  After all isn’t it much nicer to sit around with your friends and family in your outdoor space whether it be just a small balcony or a whole outdoor patio room complete with some form of deck canopy to keep the sun off our bodies.  Let’s face it we need shade to protect us from any of the  harmful  rays from sun that might shed on our exposed skin.

There are all kinds of patio covers available and you can even get them to match your new outdoor cushions on your outdoor furniture whether it be cushion covered benches, metal garden furniture (which definitely needs some form of outdoor cushion) , or  wicker furniture.

Personally I am leaning towards the latest in all weather offerings, outdoor wicker furniture.  It is a combo of a resin material and wicker so it is virtually weather proof.  My kind of patio furniture as I never stack and cover anything and in Texas you get a variety of weather all in the same day sometimes.

Of course there are the old standbys and weather resistant furniture such as teak and as I mentioned before, iron.  There is also the hard plastic chairs that we all grew up sitting in and now are offered in a Adirondack style harder plastic chair.  These come in a variety of colors and can also be left out in the weather with worry of  rot.  You just need to hose them off before you company comes.

Your outdoor cushion colors and pattern are no longer just the stripes or solid colors that use to be available but are offered in a large number with patterns ranging from the simple to the simply exquisite.  Go look at your local fabric store at their outdoor cushion fabrics, they are beautiful.  Your patio can be as beautiful as you imagined with just a few simple changes.
