Creating a Home Spa
Many people are turning their bathrooms into their own personal home luxury spas. Your options will be limited by your budget along with your creativity.
You do not know where to begin, consider visiting a few luxury spas near home. Take notes on which elements you like and which elements you do not like to meet one. When you visit enough of these places, you will start to understand what your own individual tastes and preferences are.
Some of things you may want to change in your bathroom include a color change. If you are not aware, even often received design tips from your local Home Depot store. If you have any home remodeling skills, you may want to consider installing tiles on your shower as well.
Shower tiles are a great way to enhance the look of your bathroom. This can cost anywhere from a dollar to $30 per tile depending on your personal tastes. Consider going with a neutral colors such as gray or black.
If you really want to change your home into a luxury spa, you should consider upgrading your shower heads. Multiple showerheads can give you a great sensation as if you were in a human car washed. For example, you can choose either rainfall or waterfall shower heads. Installing them in sets of two or three can be a great way to heighten your overall showering experience.
If you do decide to install multiple showerheads, most likely you will also need to purchase a water pump recirculation system. Your existing plumbing will most likely not be suitable for such a large amount of simultaneous waterfall. Waterfall pumps work by taking the existing water and moving around a closed system. This is similar to Jacuzzi pumps.
Other things you can do to your bathroom include changing the lights. If you have florescent saving lights, consider purchasing incandescent bulbs. Incandescent light bulbs may cost more money however they are much more soothing to your eyes. You can also install a dimmer so that you can choose the exact level of lighting depending on your mood.
